Discovering a student life in Wuhan, China
Friday, September 17, 2010 @ Day 4: HOT DAY ):
It's a rather simple and relaxing day today, (except for the killer weather, again. ) We had IS lessons this morning, and it was really a good introduction about China and how their business system works. But today was quite a fun day for me! Yixian and I set up our own raffia string to dry our clothes after our IS lesson had ended! And because due to the setting up time, we were almost late for class, which resulted in us running from our hostel all the way to the study room! Usually, walking time would be about 10-15 minutes.. But if you were to run, it takes only 3 minutes. REALLY! I’m not kidding.
Well so our next lesson was PM. Learnt new things like AON. We were given quite a few assignments already so I guess it is time to do work already yea? Some reflections before I sign off:

The discipline in WUST is rather strict. They did not allow any kinds of food and drinks other than water. Unlike our campus, we are still able to take small snacks like biscuits..
Furthermore, our IS teacher is really strict with us. She didn’t like it that some of the students were yakking away. Hence, pointing out which student it was, and telling her off. Well, apparently, this is quite different from how our local university or polytechnic works. Whether you listen in class or not, all depends on you, and not your teachers.. I thought it was rather in a secondary school whereby teachers will reprimand students for disrupting the class..Ahah. But of course, there are reasons for them doing this.. Through this system. they really could make sure students are attentive in class..

Yours truly
